So is watching television a form of self care?
Watching TV can be self care.
Sometimes we need an excuse to sit for a few hours, disengage with the stress of the world and enjoy ourselves.
That’s perfectly okay! In fact, it’s more than okay. It’s necessary for our happiness and well being.
I think there can be a stigma about watching television. That you’re being lazy, could be more productive, it’s not real self care, etc.
What stigmas and misconceptions have you heard?
But there’s nothing wrong with taking some time for yourself.
